of thinking and behaving.

Army Mental Health Specialist
• Army mental health specialists are mental
health professionals that are partly
responsible for the mental and emotional
well-being of Army soldiers.
Career counselor
• Career counselors help prepare
their clients for the start, change,
or advancement of their career
Child Abuse Counselor
• They use their training
to identify, analyze, and
treat specific symptoms
of child abuse and they
provide crucial therapy
to help the child
overcome their awful
ordeal
Child Pediatric Counselor
• They perform assessments for specific issues
such as ADHD and autism.

• They use their training to help families identify


and treat issues in children such as weight
disorders, anger problems, or social anxiety
disorders.
Couples Counselor
• Couples Counselors are absolutely trained
psychologists who are specifically tasked with
helping couples of all ages lead happy and
healthy relationships
Depression Counselor
• Depression counselors are specifically trained
to deal with the mental, emotional, and
physical issues that can arise out of
depression.
Domestic Violence Counselor
• Domestic violence is one of the more
prevalent issues that take place in the home
setting .
Geriatric counselor
• Geriatric counselors provide
treatment, analysis, and
counseling services to seniors and
their families.
Grief counselor
• Grief counselors are usually licensed
therapists who help people cope with the grief
and sense of loss that usually follows the
death of a loved one, a particularly emotional
divorce, or another tragic life experience.
Guidance Counselor
• Most guidance counselors work in
schools.
• They can also provide young adults with
career advice and help students of all
ages adjust socially to the school
environment to fulfill their potential in
the classroom
Marriage and Family Counselor
• Marriage counseling, however, can be used to
help save some marriages and patch rifts
between family members.

• This can help lower divorce rates, making


children feel more secure, loved, stable, and
comfortable in their homes.
Mental Health Counseling
• Mental health counseling can be used to pull
some people out of their mental ill.

• Professionals in this field offer counseling,


support, and guidance to individuals that are
having trouble coping mentally or emotionally.
They might also offer counseling to individuals
experiencing:
• Depression
• Bipolar Disorder
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder
• Panic Disorder
• Grief
• Phobias
Anuptaphobia – Fear of staying single
Brontophobia – Fear of thunder,
lightning and storms
Cacophobia – Fear of ugliness.
Cleptophobia – Fear of stealing. (See
