TITLE: COLLEGE DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

AIM:  Its purpose is to centralize the whole system of the department. We are attempting to improve our
existing system which is not centralized. The main goal of the system is to take the work competly paperless.

ABOUT PROJECT: The main objective of the College Management System is to manage the details of
Students, Attendance and Grades. It is for managing all the information about Students. The project is built
for both teachers as well as the students. The purpose of the project is to build a web application program for
reducing the manual work of managing Student Database. It tracks all the details related to Students.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AUTHENTICATION: Registered Username & Password.

Users: Admin, Faculty and Students

 PROBLEM STATEMENT
 The existing system which we using in our college is traditional process is a complete manual process.
 Maintaining the records manually leads to error prone and required more man power and it consumes more
time for processing the records.
 When the number of records increases,, it is difficult to maintain the information of each student in the old
manual system
 It will help for managing all the information about Students.
 The project is built for both teachers as well as the students.
 It tracks all the details related to Students.
 OBJECTIVES
 Show the information about Students.

 It tracks all the information about Students i.e Results & Attendance of whole academic year.

 It satisfy the user’s requirement .

 Be easy to understand by the user and operator.

 Be easy to operate.

 Have a good user interface.

 New features can be added as per requirements.

 SCOPE
 We can give more advance software for College Management System including more facilities
 We will host the platform on online servers to make it accessible worldwide Integrate multiple load
balancers to distribute the loads of the system
 Create the master and slave database structure to reduce the overload of the database queries
 Implement the backup mechanism for taking backup of codebase and database regular basis on different
servers
