Explaining what passive voice
is, the function and how to use
it along with examples.
What is passive voice?
Passive voice in indonesian is known as passive sentence. Active
sentence and passive sentences have some very basic differences. If in
the active sentence the subject of the sentence (person) does the
work, while in the passive sentence the subject is not the doer of the
job but the object.
Active : S + Verb/Modal + O
Passive: S + Verb/Modal + O
Passive voice in indonesian can be easily formed by simply
adding the prefix di- in front of the verb. For example:
⚫ Active: Brother kicks the ball.
⚫ Passive: Brother kicked the ball.
Passive :
Final project will have been being presented by Michael.
(S + will + have + been + being + v3)
