LUKE 8:11-15
 “This is the meaning of the parable: The
8:11 

seed is the word of God. 

Those along the path are the ones who

8:12 

hear, and then the devil comes and takes away

the word from their hearts, so that they may
not believe and be saved.
 Those on the rocky ground are the
8:13 

ones who receive the word with joy

when they hear it, but they have no
root. They believe for a while, but in
the time of testing they fall away.
 The seed that fell among thorns
8:14 

stands for those who hear, but as

they go on their way they are choked
by life’s worries, riches and
pleasures, and they do not mature. 
 But the seed on good soil
8:15 

stands for those with a noble and

good heart, who hear the word,
retain it, and by persevering
produce a crop.

As a Christian we need to be:

 1. ADORATION (PAGSAMBA)

“The thief comes only to
steal and kill and destroy;”
 dahil sinasabi sa kasulatan,
Roma 10:13 

“Maliligtas ang lahat ng tumatawag sa

pangalan ng Panginoon.”
 Roma 10:14 Paano naman sila tatawag sa kanya
kung hindi sila sumasampalataya? Paano
sila sasampalataya kung wala pa silang
napakinggan tungkol sa kanya? Paano
naman sila makakapakinig kung walang
mangangaral sa kanila?
 1. LOYALTY (KATAPATAN)

Santiago 1:22 

sa salita ng Diyos. Kung ito'y

pinapakinggan lamang ninyo
ngunit hindi isinasagawa,
dinadaya ninyo ang inyong
sarili.
 Ang sabi nila'y kilala nila ang
Tito 1:6 

Diyos, ngunit ito'y

pinapasinungalingan ng
kanilang mga gawa. Sila'y
kasuklam-suklam, suwail at hindi
nababagay sa gawang mabuti.
1. LONGEVITY (MAHABA ANG
BUHAY)
But the seed on good soil stands for

 Ang mga nahasik naman sa
8:15

matabang lupa ay ang mga

nakikinig ng salita ng Diyos at
nag-iingat nito sa kanilang
pusong tapat at malinis, at
sila'y namumunga dahil sa
pagtitiyaga.”
 Kaya nga, palagi kaming
1 TESALONICA 2:13 

nagpapasalamat sa Diyos, sapagkat

nang ipangaral namin sa inyo ang
kanyang salita, hindi ninyo ito
tinanggap bilang salita ng tao, kundi
bilang tunay na salita ng Diyos, at
ang bisa nito'y nakikita sa buhay ninyo
na mga sumasampalataya.

• The soil isn’t soil, it’s the people
who hear the word
