SITUATION/SCENARIO
If you can recall Philippines is located along the pacific ring of fire. People who
live along the ring of fire have to put up with earthquakes and volcanic
eruptions.

No one can stop earthquake from happening but there are things that people
can do to avoid or reduce loss of life and damage to property . The first step
is to have a clear understanding of the occurrence of earthquake.

Task 1: Using indigenous materials, students are going to make a brochure/


flyer about earthquake and the things to do before, during and after an
earthquake.
