Diagnosis
• Definition: The art or act of identifying a disease from its signs
and symptoms.

• Methods:
1. Medical history: Hypertensive , Diabetic … etc.
2. Dental history: RCT, Restoration , Extraction .. etc.
3. Clinical test
4. Radiograph
5. Chief complaint
Patient Education

 Patient should be informed the condition of his tooth and the


Treatment plan options.

 Oral Hygiene Instruction OHI to the patient .


Local Anesthesia L.A
• Definition: loss of sensation in a local area of the body
without loss of consciousness .

Topical
Rubber Dam Isolation
• Usually single tooth isolation
• Rubber Dam isolation is recommended to
maintaining a sterile field and to prevent
aspiration of instruments and material.
Root Canal Thereby Sequences
1)Access opening 2) Working length

4) Obturatin
3) Instrumentation ( Cleaning & shaping)
Final restoration

 Usually All posterior teeth with root canal therapy need final
restoration (Crown).
