Biography
Imran Khan was born in Lahore on 5 October
1952. ... He was educated at the Aitchison
College and Cathedral School in Lahore, and
then the Royal Grammar School Worcester in
England, where he excelled at cricket. In
1972, he enrolled in Keble College, Oxford
where he studied Philosophy, Politics and
Economics, graduating in 1975.
What is he famous for ?
Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician and
the current Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Before joining politics, Khan was a
cricket player. He was the captain of the
Pakistan national cricket team which
won the 1992 Cricket World Cup. After
retirement, Khan started philanthropy
work.

He raised $25 million to set up a hospital in
Lahore in 1994, and set up a second hospital
in Peshawar in 2015.[ Khan then continued
his philanthropic efforts, expanding
the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer
Hospital to also include a research center,
 and founded Namal College in 2008.
He became minister on General elections
were held on 25 July 2018, which resulted in
the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf winning
156/342 seats. And he was selected on 18
august 2018.
