When the subject is singular, the verb uses an s and
when it is plural, the verb has no s.

Singular (subject is only one) : loves/likes

Plural (subject is more than one) : love/like

of applying colour.
2. Counting
Counting is saying numbers
one after the other in order.
3. Cutting
To break the surface of
something, or to divide or
make something smaller.
4. Gluing
To join or stick together with
or as if with glue.
5. Listening
Give one's attention to a sound.
6. Watching a DVD
To look at DVD for a period of
time.
7. Using the computer
To take computer for a
purpose.
8. Writing
Mark (letters, words, or other
symbols) on a surface.
9. Playing a game
To spend time doing an
enjoyable and/or entertaining
activity.
