About Viet Nam:
- In the Nguyen Dynasty, there was some
rules about execution, there were 5 level of
crime and 5 level of execution, the more
serious crime, the more cruel the
punishment.
Nowadays, in our modern world:

Death penalty have been done in a less cruel way


Eg: chopping head, hanging, flaying,.... -> shooting->
electrocution -> drug protocol
There has been controversy around whether to keep
or ban death penalty led by United Nations General
Assembly. But untill now, there’re still 65 countries
keep death penalty as a legal punishment, including
Viet Nam.
