 The project, Hotel Management System is an application that allows the hotel manager to handle
all hotel activities online.
 Interactive GUI and the ability to manage various hotel works.
 The hotel manager is a very busy person and does not have the time to sit and manage the entire
activities manually on paper. This application gives him the power and flexibility to manage the
entire system from a single online system.
 Hotel management project provides staff management and other necessary hotel management
features.
 The system allows the manager to post available rooms in the system.
 Purpose and Need
 The system is useful as it calculates an exact cost for requested number of
days.
 It saves organization resources and expenses.
 This system is effective and saves time and cost of users.
 Easy registration.
 It requires a reliable internet connection.
 This system can be applied in hotels.
 It can also be implemented in resorts.
 Scope Of The Project

 The software to be developed deal with creating hotel management system.

 It will automate the major hotel operation such as billing , pickup service
,room status , costumer details etc.
 Admin have authority to control and modify the database.
 The software is going to reduce the paper works.
 Its help a lot to manager to manage staff, availability of rooms , salaries ,
rooms status , complains of customers.

 Personal Login and password system provided for manager to check all details
and database.
 Fully backup options available saving all passwords and information.
 To save in database different option available like passport, aadhar card,
driving license etc for employees and customer both.
 Simple user interface so anyone can use easily.
 Only admin can modify the database and see all details.

 The conclusion of this project is A Hotel management system is a

computerized management system.
 This system keeps the records of hardware assets besides software of this
organization.
 The proposed system will keep a track of Workers, Residents, Accounts and
generation of report regarding the present status.
 This project has GUI based software that will help in storing, updating and
retrieving the information through various user-friendly menu-driven modules.
 This software application will help admin to handle customers information,
room allocation details, payment details, billing information etc.
