Apostolic prayer of Claret

O my God and
Father, grant that I
may know you and
make you known
that I love you, and
bring others to love
you; that I serve you
and persuade others to
serve you;
that I praise you,
and work that all
creatures praise
you.
Grant, my Father, that
all sinners be
converted, that all the
just persevere in grace,
and all of us reach
eternal glory. Amen.
WE COME TODAY

Ref: We come
to day to break this bread
and share this cup of wine.
We gather at your table
now to hear your word of
life.
And though there are so
many here today.
We all are one, one family
one body and one Church,
We are your own.
1. We thank you, Lord
for Jesus, who calls us to
this feast to share in one
communion in your
name.
Ref: We come
to day to break this bread
and share this cup of wine.
We gather at your table
now to hear your word of
life.
And though there are so
many here today.
We all are one, one
family one body and
one Church, We are your
own.
2. We thank you for
creation, the beauty of
the earth ; with grateful
hearts we thank you for
your gift.

Gifts of Bread and Wine

1. Gifts of bread and wine,

gifts we have offered, fruits
of labour, fruits of love;
taken, offered, sanctified,
blessed and broken; words
of one who died:
Refrain:

Take my body, take my

saving blood. Gifts of
bread and wine: Christ
our Lord
2. Christ our Saviour, living
presence here as he
promised while on earth: I
am with you for all the
time, I am with you in this
bread and wine.
Refrain:

Take my body, take my

saving blood. Gifts of
bread and wine: Christ
our Lord
How Lovely is your Dwelling Place
Refrain: How lovely
is your dwelling
place, O Lord, mighty
God, Lord of all.
1. Even the lowly sparrow
finds a home for her brood
And a swallow a nest for
herself, where she may lay
her young;
In Your altars, my King and
my God.
Refrain: How lovely
is your dwelling
place, O Lord,
mighty God, Lord of
all.
2. Blessed are they whose
dwelling is your own, Lord of
Peace. Blest are they
refreshed by springs and by
rain, when dryness daunts
and scathes. Behold my
Shield, my King, and my God.
Refrain: How lovely
is your dwelling
place, O Lord, mighty
God, Lord of all.
3. I would forsake a
thousand other days
anywhere. If I could spend
one day in Your courts,
belong to you alone. My
strength are You alone: my
Glory, my King and my God.
Refrain: How lovely
is your dwelling
place, O Lord, mighty
God, Lord of all.
