WRITING
SC 1: Read and listen to Johnny’s instant message and Tilda’s reply.
What is Johnny’s problem? Do you agree with Tilda’s advice?
JOHNNY
Hi Tilda, How are you?
I’m writing to you because I want some advice. I want to go to a summer camp for teenagers in August, but
my parents won’t let me. They think I should go on holiday with them, but I know it’ll be really boring!
What should I do?

TILDA
Hi Johnny,
Sorry to hear about your problem. I hope I can help!
Last year I wanted to go to a summer camp with my best friend, but my parents said no. Then her mum rang
my parents and told them more about the camp. Finally, they let me go! I think you should ask an adult to talk
to you parents about the summer camp. Then maybe they will change their minds. Good luck!
