of Globalization in

Positive effect of
Globalization in
Communication
As the communication between the countries
becomes open sharing of information become easier
due to globalization. This has also contributed to the
increase in speed and of transportation of products.
We can easily communicate to our loveones that are far away from
us via text, chat or video call.
We can do business meeting through gmeet or make business
online just like online selling.
In schooling we can learn even at home through synchronous mode
because face-to-face classes are unavailable due to the pandemic.

 Countries joining together through globalization will

remove the cultural barriers and make the world a
global village. Globalization makes the countries adopt
the factors that are beneficial in the long run.
The advantages of globalization include free trade, better
communication between nations, and increased access to
technology, media, education, healthcare, and consumer
goods.

 Globalization affects global communication by enabling businesses

to pursue new and unexplored opportunities across the world.
Similarly, cultural barriers are broken down with the use of internet
and mobile technology, with distance and isolation no longer being
relevant.
 Globalization has helped people communicate better with each other
and discover new things. As well as people learn new culture and
heritage and a sense of unity is developed.
PROMOTES WORKING TOGETHER' different countries come
together to engage in trade and investments in global financial
market.
Increased Global Cooperation For a globalized economy to
exist, nations must be willing to put their differences aside and
work together. Due to this, increased globalization has been
linked to a reduction though not an elimination of conflict.
Eusebio Pagauro

become part of international production networks and
supply chains that are the main conduits of trade.
Rose Buizon

place because of peace and unity people not afraid live in this
world.

Negative effects of
Globalization in
Communication
 Globalization affects global communication by enabling
businesses to pursue new and unexplored opportunities across
the world. Similarly, cultural barriers are broken down with the
use of internet and mobile technology, with distance and isolation
no longer being relevant.

The disadvantages of globalization include the potential exploitation of

developing countries, cultural homogenization, and the possibility of
adverse effects on local economies and the environment.
Globalization changes how humans would identify themselves.
Globalization would negatively impact the environment.
With globalization allowing languages and their cultures to spread and
dominate on a global scale, it also leads to the extinction of other
languages and cultures.
 Globalization on communication could possibly lead to mash or mashup
of civilization wherein certain customs of a person or place would
combine and amalgamate with one another resulting to convolution.

 Globalization tend to advantage companies to operate their

supply, for instance it may struggle to compete with the prices.
Prior to globalization, skilled workers were employed in government
and private sectors, where they were paid well. Those who completed
college and acquired a degree had job prospects waiting for them.
People would resign from one job and soon find a new one. Many
people are looking for work all around the world as a result of
globalization. Employers profit from low-cost labor. Because the
employer may locate a talented worker willing to work for less money,
one can be fired for making a minor mistake.

 A majority of big industries prefer cheap labour people in a skilled

and non- skilled category will go for the job in developed
countries.
Although people belonging to different cultures and countries get a
chance to interact with each other, it causes a loss in tradition and
values.

 If the rules and regulations regarding the protection of the

environment are less in underdeveloped countries can
manufacture products that may harm the environment.

 Unemployment caused by local industries being unable to

compete.
 Disproportionate Growth Globalization can introduce
disproportionate growth both between and within nations.
These effects must be carefully managed economically
and morally.

Fake news or false information can be easily spread by the use of social
media
Unemployment because some people don't know how to use technology
that's we really need now on applying jobs
Some people also use the social media to descriminate or harass
others.
There may be a greater chance of disease spreading worlwide,
as well as invasive species that could prove devastating in non-
native ecosystems.

Terrorism- it is significant problem in most developed countries. Due to

worldwide integration, people travel a lot. Some of them move abroad
for studying, business, visiting relatives, work and access hospitals
services. However, not all of them are totally honest. Lots of terrorists
came to a foreign country with a worker visa having a hidden goal to
perform a terrorist attack.

Competitions among developing countries to attract foreign investment leads to a “
race to the bottom “ in which countries dangerously lower environmental standards.

Global commerce is increasingly dominated by translational

corporations which seek to maximize profits without regard for the
development needs of individual countries or the local populations.

 Conflict- negative communication often has lots of emotions. Most

forms of this type of communication involve placing the blame on
other people or taking on a defensive tone. Negative interaction can
quickly escalate small issues into full- blown fights. Instead of
empathy people are pushed to keep on battling each other over
insignificant things.
