On the Edaakhil Portal's Home Page 
 
Click on Complainant/Advocate Section--> Registration

1.  1. Register UserId to get OTP

2. Get activation link through OTP

3. Activate Link in email received on your email account

1. Login with activated user id/ email id
2. Start Filing your case

Prerequisites to file a new case:
 
The Consumer Complaint along with all the copies should be paginated and duly indexed in the following seriatim:
1. Index
2. List of Dates
3. Memo of Parties (with fresh complete addresses & telephone no.)
4. Complaint with Notarised attested affidavit.
5. Fee payable for making Consumer Complaint (Offline Mode)
(Demand Draft in favour of the respective consumer Forum  “e.g. The Registrar, NCDRC, New Delhi”)
 
Any Other Document, if you are required to upload
5. Supporting documents in favour of complaint e.g. receipt, voucher etc.
(All the Annexures must be attested as True Copy on the last page with name & signature)
6. Application for condonation of delay with Notarised attested affidavit, if beyond limitation.(2 years from cause of
action)
 
Please have the scanned copies of all the necessary documents before filing a consumer case.

Successfull Login: User Home Screen   

User Login: Success


1.User Home screen with welcome message will be shown after successful login with user name
displayed on extreme right. 
2.Filing :  User in person or a party as complainant/petitioner/appellant can file a new complaint or
rejoinder and can view case related activities such as case status, pending draft ,pending payment,
view approved cases etc 
3.Profile : Mange account or update profile settings 
4. Click on Logout button to exit from user account.

Filing a New Case :


 
1.Click on the Filing(By Complainant/Advocate) dropdown Menu
2.This opens up a list of submenus, click on File a New Case submenu
 
1.Case Filing :  Pre-Details  and The Case Details
●Pre-details tab shows the case ref no., claim amount and the level of forum where this case will be submitted along with the
place of Action of State and District pertains to the place where incident happened.
●Case Details Tab: There are three sections on this page; Complainant Details, Respondent Details and Complainant’s advocate
details. Fill in the required details

1.2.  Case Filing : Additional Complainant
●Switch to Additional Complainant tab. Fill out the details of Additional Complainant, if any. 
●Mark tick on the checkboxes in complainant details and complainant advocate section to enable the fields. 
●Fill in the details in the fields and Click on add button.
●To modify, click on edit button given alongside and click on Update button
 
Click on Save Draft and Click on Next Tab.
1.3.  Case Filing : Additional Opposite Party
●Fill out the details of Additional Opposite Party, if any. 
●Mark tick on the checkboxes in complainant details and complainant advocate section to enable the fields.
●Fill in the details in the required fields and Click on add button.
●To modify, click on edit button given alongside and click on Update button
 
Click on Save Draft and Click on Next Tab.
1.4. Case Filing: Document upload
●In case of CC , total of 4 documents are required to be uploaded.  
●Click on choose button, select the file to upload then click on Upload button.
●To upload additional documents, click on Add document button.
●Read the information given in the Information Panel.
●Click on “Save Draft and Click on Next Tab” button
5. Case Filing: Finalize and Submit Application
After filling in all the details, the last step towards completion is finalize the case.
●Click on Preview button under Finalization Steps to get a merged document of what were uploaded by you.
●Alongside, the panel in the right informs about in which consumer forum the case is filed
●Mark tick on the checkboxes and confirm that details have been provided correctly and necessary documents have
been uploaded.
●Click on Finalize button to finally submit the case to the forum.
●Once finalized , can not be edited.
5. Case Filing: Finalize  -->  Received OTP
User will get an OTP on registered mobile number
●Enter OTP received on mobile number 
●If OTP is not received by user , click on Resend OTP button to get OTP.
●Case Finalized Acknowledgement will be displayed to the user.
● 
●Now the case will get listed under Pending Approval Section or Pending Payment Section
