organized sounds which expresses
ideas and emotions in significant
forms through the elements of rhythm,
melody, form, harmony and timbre-
dynamics.

Art Education is a primary pathway

to learning, a journey of discovery of
the meaning of teaching for aesthetic
experience. Art is an expression of
ideas created by human imagination,
skill and invention.

Physical Education is the phase of total

process of education which is concerned
with the development and utilization of the
individual’s movement potential and
related responses, and with the stable
behavior modifications in the individual
which results from these responses

Health Education is any

combination of learning experiences
designed to help individuals and
communities improve their health, by
increasing their knowledge or
influencing their attitudes.
MAPEH as one subject area
MAPEH, which stands for music, arts,
physical education, and health, has great
importance in everyday life. This subject
develops the holistic aspect of an individual. At
the very least, music and arts provide an outlet
for relaxation. Physical education teaches the
importance of keeping the body active and
moving. Health helps to teach one how to stay
well and things that they should and should not
do to their bodies.
