REQUIREMENTS VERIFICATION

Engaging and very friendly Survey people after they use my software

Sensitive to emotions and visual cues During the testing stage, trigger emotional cues in user
and validate if the software noticed them correctly.

Accessible anytime, anywhere Test it in various locations at different times - in groups.

Compatible with both Microsoft OS and Mac OS (maybe Test it on and survey the people who have run the
IOS and Android) software on the listed operating systems

PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS
Votes MEDALS Votes MISSIONS
11 Engaging, clear, well organized, impactful 5 Scope is complex and might be hard to
presentation accomplish
9 Good research, analysis and statistics to back 2 Research online tools for help,
up arguments simplification
3 Very helpful, unique idea i.e. Good inquiry 1 Use lighter background for presentation
question

Observation: After consolidating the feedback and ordering them by highest number of votes, the
overwhelming consensus is that the inquiry question and development of the idea is extremely well
received. Similarly, on the missions, the consistent feedback was to ensure the complexity and scope
remains achievable in the timeframe of this project.

Action: Revisit project scope and product design. Research online tools for help.

PROJECT PITCH FEEDBACK SUMMARY

Action: Choose between Voicebot and Virtual Human Interface
Should I use Voice Bot?
P M I
Voice based Less engaging than Human interface Would this reduce the effectiveness?
Flow is natural Less natural Would people be engaged or bored?
Accessible anytime Not accessible anywhere – Need a private
space
Medium Complexity

Should I use Virtual Human Interface?

P M I
Most engaging Most complex How do I achieve it in the timeframe?
Most friendly and High risk Can I reduce the number of questions/areas and
most natural characters?
Accessible anytime Not accessible anywhere – Need a private A lot of scope for making it engaging and
space interesting.
Sensitive to emotions

PRODUCT SELECTION – USING PMI

Task: Decided to use Virtual Human Interface using PMI strategy with a high weightage given to the product being
engaging, however the scope/design must be revised to make it achievable (as is also highlighted by the feedback from
project pitch).

- Reduced number of characters from 4 to 2.

Reduce scope - Reduced the scope to one specific issue/query

Could run out of time

Change the produce - Review the project status at end of Term 2.

to Voicebot

Decision: Decided to proceed with revised scope and added a checkpoint at the end of Term 2.

DESIGN IMPROVEMENT – USING FUTURES LINE

Task: Installed the base toolkit but the components are too complex, requiring additional skills (e.g. Unity and
Multimodal perception/analysis). Feedback from the peers/project expert were also highlighting this as an area to be
addressed. Therefore the design needs to be simplified to make it achievable.

Make design simpler - Exclude emotional analysis / response

Could be too complex

Change the product - Review the project status at end of Term 2.

to Voicebot

Decision: Decided to exclude emotional analysis/response from the design and added a checkpoint at the end of
Term 2.
