LANDSLIDE
• The movement of rock,debris,or earth,down a slop is called landslide.
• Human activities like urbanization and deforestation can weaken a
mountain and start a landslide.
• The negative economic effects of landslide include the cost to repair
structures,loss of property, disruption,of transportation
routes,medical costs in the event if injury, and indirect costs,such as
loss timber and fish stocks.
Tsunamis
• Tsunamis is a Japanese word which means ‘harbour waves’.
• Tsunamis (pronounced as soo- nami) are sudden, unexpected, and
very large ocean waves that can cause sudden movement of water.
• They are also known as undersea earthquakes.
FOREST FIRES
• THE BURNING OF FORESTS LIKE A WILDFIRE IS CALLED A FOREST FIRE.
• FOREST FIRES OCCURS IN MANY PLACES AROUND THE WORLD,WHERE
THERE IS PLENTY OF WOOD , DRIED LEAVES, AND FOREST COVER
THAT CAN BURN THEMSELVES DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE HEAT OF THE
SUN.
• IT WILL BE HAVING LOSS OF TREES,PLANTS,ANIMALS,AND THE
ENVIRONMENT.
