汉语中的形容词做谓语时，主语和形容词之间不需要用“是”，
形容词前面常常加“很” 非常”等程度副词。例如：
There’s no need to use “ 是” between the subject and adjective when

3. 我们休息一下吧。
“ 一下”用在动词后边，表示时间短暂，也表示做一次或者试
着做的意思。例如：
“ 一下” is used after a verb, indicatins; a short moment.
Sometimes it also means “for once” or “have a try”. For example

② 我去一下 卫生间。
③ 我看一下 你的词典，行吗？
④ 请你读（ dú ， read ) 一下 课文。

“ 一点儿（ 1) ” 表示数量很少，用在名词前边做定语，口
语里“一”常常省略。例如 “一点儿 ( 1 )” means a little. It is
used as an attributive before a noun. In spoken Chinese, 一” is often
omitted. For example
