PARTS OF A TROOP MEETING
PRE-OPENING - This is the period spent preparing for the meeting.
The Troop Leader also uses this time which is usually 15 to 30
minutes before the scheduled time for the meeting to talk
individually to the boys as they arrive.
This is also the period when the Service Patrol, appointed during
the last Troop Leaders Council, prepares and sets up the Troop
meeting place, gets the necessary materials and equipment from
the Troop Quartermaster, and make their last minute physical
arrangement.

PARTS OF TROOP MEETING
BUSINESS PERIOD - This is where roll call and inspection
is conducted by the Troop Scribe and the Senior Patrol

This is also the time when the Troop dues are collected and
the advancement progress of the Patrols are monitored
through the reports of the Patrol Leaders.
