-BY SHIPRA

1. POST CONTROL/FEEDBACK
CONTROL
 Future oriented.

How goals have been achieved.

Corrections occur after the act.

Feedback is after the event information. But it is vital to the control process
because it is the guide for initiating corrective action.
FEEDBACK CONTROL DIAGRAM
EXAMPLE
An example of feedback control is when a sales goal is set, the sales team works to
reach that goal for three months, and at the end of the three-month period, managers
review the results and determine whether the sales goal was achieved.
As part of the process, managers may also implement changes if the goal is not
achieved.
Three months after the changes are implemented, managers will review the new
results to see whether the goal was achieved.
2.CONCURRENT CONTROL
It takes place while the activity is
still in process.

It involves adjustment of process

by the managers before the serious
damage takes place.

Direct supervision.
3.FEEDFORWARD CONTROL
Prevents anticipated problems.

It takes place before the action.

It is future oriented.

Feedforward control allows the

managers to prevent the problem
beforehand rather than curing them.
EXAMPLE OF FEEDFORWARD CONTROL
 Formulation of policies for preventing the possible occurrence of
critical problems.
1. Communicating to new employees its policy on absenteeism.
2.Careful planning of the availability of cash to meet
requirements of future-directed control.
This diagram depicts that how all types of control work. In this
picture the production process is in the center and all types of
control surrounds it.
