INTODUCTION
Sports analytics is an emerging research area with several
applications in variety of fields.
It is the Collection of relevant, historical, statistics data that
can provide a competitive advantage to team or individual.
Use of data and advanced statistics to measure performance of
player and make knowledgeable decisions, in order to gain a
competitive sports advantages.
Sports Analytics is the Web application on Django framework.
 It is based on Machine Learning .
LITERATURE REVIEW
Sports analytics has been receiving significant research
attention and studies have suggested that sports analytics could
be use to greater degree in business engaged in sports.
The first attempt of applying analytics in a sports game was
conducted by T.C. Reep during the 1950.
It is effective approach to understand the intellectual
foundation of concept and classify related research.
The context classification is mapped according to techniques in
the study.
Why Sports Analytics?
Through the collection and analyzation of the data, sports
analytics inform players, coaches and other staff in order to
facilitate decision making both during and prior to sporting
events.
Monitor and improve performance of Player or Team.
Provides detailed information about Team or Individual player.
Players Management.
It is important to point out that not only teams are interested in
predicting the outcomes of the game or the teams
performance , people around are keen on sports betting would
also benefit from such prediction.
MOTIVATION
Motivation for this study is to present an integrated view of the
literature on different aspects of sport analytics so as to
facilitate further research, study, and practice.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
Classification model attempts to draw some conclusion from
observed values.
Regression analysis consists of a set of machine learning
methods that allow us to predict a continuous outcome variable
(y) based on the value of one or multiple predictor variables.
1) Linear Regression
2) Ridge Regression
3) Neural Network Regression
4) Lasso Regression
5) Decision Tree Regression
6) Random Forest
7) KNN Model
8) Support Vector Machines (SVM)

CONCLUSION
Data analytics in sports is a huge revolution that has begun to
change the face of modern sport
Sports analytics is expected to be an important part of a team’s
performance in the future.
 It is anticipated that there is going to be a huge amount of
data, which, combined with appropriate exploitation methods
could improve algorithmic accuracy.
Teams are increasingly embedding such practices to their
inventory for improving their game.
Using it further, many more ground breaking developments
can be made in the field of sports
