COURSE DESCRIPTION
This introductory course is what the curriculum in
social work is all about. Students are given a run-
through of the contents and what to expect at the
end of the course. Philosophy, values and ethics
are given emphasis as a preparation for students to
go to higher courses
COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. For incoming social work freshmen to have a
feel and an idea what the social work
profession is all about.
2. For students to start development of values
that would prepare them to the practice of
the profession.
