Good day brothers and sisters in

Christ. As one family of God, we are

gathered here today to ask the Lord
to empower us with the Holy Spirit
so that we can make our 28th
Founding Anniversary a worthy and
pleasing sacrifice of praise despite
the adversities brought by COVID-
19.
As we start this meaningful
celebration, we are invited to reflect
on the great example of service
shown to us by the Blessed Mother
through her “fiat” to God so that we
may also serve our brothers and
sisters who are in need most
especially at this time of pandemic.
May all of us be reminded
that it is God who helped us
in our previous celebrations,
and it is He who will remain
with us as we take on more
praises and undertakings.
With the intercession of the Our
Lady of the Holy Rosary and St.
John Baptist De La Salle, let us
begin this Thanksgiving Celebration
with open arms and warm
acceptance of the Lord as we join in
the singing of our opening song.
“Ang Puso
Ko’y
Nagpupuri”
LEADER

Let us start this celebration with

ease and gladness to the Lord.
All together,
+ In the name of the Father and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
ALL

Amen.
LEADER

To prepare ourselves to
celebrate this
Thanksgiving Prayer, let
us call to mind our sins.
ALL

I confess to Almighty God

and to you, my brothers and
sisters, that I have greatly
sinned in my thoughts and in
my words,
ALL

in what I have done and in

what I have failed to do,
through my fault, through my
fault, through my most
grievous fault;
ALL

therefore, I ask blessed

Mary Ever-Virgin, all
the Angels and Saints,
ALL

and you, my brothers

and sisters, to pray for
me to the Lord our God.
LEADER

Let us pray…

Pour forth, we beseech

you, O Lord, your grace
into our hearts, that we,
LEADER

to whom the Incarnation of

Christ your Son was made
known the message of an
Angel, may, through the
intercession of the Blessed
Virgin Mary,
LEADER

by his Passion and Cross be

brought to the glory of his
Resurrection. Who lives and
reigns with you in the unity of
the Holy Spirit, one God, for
ever and ever.
ALL

Amen.
FIRST READING

A reading from the

Book of the
Prophet Malachi
FIRST READING

You have defied me in word,

says the LORD,
yet you ask, “What have we
spoken against you?”
FIRST READING

You have said, “It is vain to

serve God, and what do we profit
by keeping his command. And
going about in penitential dress
in awe of the LORD of hosts?
FIRST READING

Rather must we call the proud

blessed; for indeed evildoers
prosper, and even tempt God
with impunity.”
FIRST READING

Then they who fear the

LORD spoke with one
another, and the LORD
listened attentively;
FIRST READING

And a record book was

written before him of those
who fear the LORD and
trust in his name.
FIRST READING

And they shall be mine,

says the LORD of hosts,
my own special
possession, on the day I
take action.
FIRST READING

And I will have

compassion on them, as a
man has compassion on
his son who serves him.
FIRST READING

Then you will again see

the distinction between
the just and the wicked;
FIRST READING

Between the one who

serves God, and the one
who does not serve him.
FIRST READING

For lo, the day is coming,

blazing like an oven,when
all the proud and all
evildoers will be stubble,
FIRST READING

And the day that is coming

will set them on fire,
leaving them neither root
nor branch, says the
LORD of hosts.
FIRST READING

But for you who fear my

name, there will arise the
sun of justice with its
healing rays.

The Word of the Lord.

ALL

Thanks be to
God.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM

Let our response be,

Blessed are they

who
hope in the Lord.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM

Blessed the man who follows not the

counsel of the wicked,
Nor walks in the way of sinners, nor
sits in the company of the insolent,
But delights in the law of the LORD
and meditates on his law day and
night.
ALL

Blessed are they

who hope in the
Lord.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM

He is like a tree planted near

running water,
That yields its fruit in due
season, and whose leaves never
fade.
Whatever he does, prospers.
ALL

Blessed are they

who hope in the
Lord.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM

Not so the wicked, not so; they

are like chaff which the wind
drives away.
For the LORD watches over the
way of the just, but the way of
the wicked vanishes.
ALL

Blessed are they

who hope in the
Lord.
GOSPEL

A reading from the

Holy Gospel
according to
St. Luke
ALL

Glory to You,
O Lord.
GOSPEL

Jesus said to his disciples:

“Suppose one of you has a
friends to whom he goes at
midnight and says,
GOSPEL

‘Friend, lend me three loaves

of bread, for a friend of mine
has arrived at my house from
a journey and I have nothing
to offer him,’
GOSPEL

and he says in reply from

within, ‘Do not bother me;
the door has already been
locked and my children and I
are already in bed.
GOSPEL

I cannot get up to give you

anything.’
I tell you, if he does not get
up to give him the loaves
because of their friendship,
GOSPEL

he will get up to give him

whatever he needs because
of his persistence.
GOSPEL

“And I tell you, ask and

you will receive; seek and
you will find; knock and
the door will be opened to
you.
GOSPEL

For everyone who asks,

receives; and the one who
seeks, finds; and to the one
who knocks, the door will
be opened.
GOSPEL

What father among you

would hand his son a snake
when he asks for a fish? Or
hand him a scorpion when he
asks for an egg?
GOSPEL

If you then, who are wicked,

know how to give good gifts to
your children, how much more
will the Father in heaven give the
Holy Spirit to those who ask
him?”

The Gospel of the Lord.

ALL

Praise to You,
Lord Jesus
Christ.
REFLECTION

The Blessed Mother, the greatest

intercessor of man towards the
Heavenly Father and Jesus, has
always been with us – her sons
and daughters.
REFLECTION

When the Blessed Virgin Mary

visited St. Dominic de Guzman
through a vision, she told St.
Dominic to pray the Rosary.
REFLECTION

That was the signal for St.

Dominic to start the devotion to
the Holy Rosary.
REFLECTION

After some time, Blessed Alan

also had a vision where the
Blessed Mother reminded him to
restore the Rosary prayer and
continue what St. Dominic had
started.
REFLECTION

Great miracles in history were associated

to the praying of the Rosary. One of the
most prominent is the Battle at Lepanto in
Europe where a group of sailors sought for
the intercession of the Blessed Mother in a
war which they were able to triumph.
REFLECTION

This event happened on

October 7, 1571 which was
then declared as the Feast of
the Our Lady of the Holy
Rosary.
REFLECTION

Throughout the year, praying

the Holy Rosary inspires us
to develop a prayerful
a
disposition and a deep faith in
God.
REFLECTION

Through the Rosary, we are

drawn closer to Jesus as we
reflect on His life.
REFLECTION

The Blessed Mother’s presence

in the life of Jesus also reflects
her assistance towards men –
most especially towards us,
Rosarian- Lasallians.
REFLECTION

In the Joyful Mysteries, Mary

was with Jesus in all the blissful
days of His life. Just like that, in
our personal lives, Mary is also
with us in all our joys.
REFLECTION

We, Rosarian-Lasallians, also

experience Mary’s love in our
happy moments in school
REFLECTION

- as a student who finds

happiness in your classmates
and friends, and in attending
your classes and school
programs;
REFLECTION

as a teacher who passed the

licensure examination or a
teacher who concluded a
lesson well;
REFLECTION

or maybe as a school
administrator who joyfully
witnesses the success of
OLHRS throughout the years
after it was founded.
REFLECTION

In the Luminous Mysteries,

Mary was with Jesus in his
journey
of fulfilling His public ministry.
We also see Mary in these
moments of our lives.
REFLECTION

She is with our students who

serves their fellow Rosarian-
Lasallians – our Pupil and
Student Council Officers.
REFLECTION

She is with our journalists

and staffers who continuously
devote their talents in writing
to give us informative
articles.
REFLECTION

She is with every parent who

provides and works for
his/her family.
REFLECTION

She is with every teacher and

administrator in fulfilling
their vocation in the teaching
ministry.
REFLECTION

In the Sorrowful Mysteries,

Mary bravely witnessed the
passion and death of Jesus and
we Rosarian-Lasallians also feel
Mary’s embrace in times of
sorrow.
REFLECTION

Mary embraces every student

who struggles in their school
home works and activities. Mary
embraces every family who lost
a beloved member.
REFLECTION

Mary embraces the whole

institution when we are
challenged by the COVID-19
pandemic.
REFLECTION

In the Glorious Mysteries,

Mary witnessed the
Resurrection and Ascension
of Jesus as well as the
Descent of the Holy Spirit.
REFLECTION

She, too, was assumed into

heaven, body and soul, as a
result of her obedience to
God.
REFLECTION

Mary intercedes for us in

times when we receive glory.
Mary is with us in every Quiz
Bee and Academic League
that we compete in.
REFLECTION

Mary is with us in sport

competitions we join. Mary is
with us in every award we
receive.
REFLECTION

St. Pope John Paul II wrote in

his Apostolic Letter,
Rosarium Virginis Mariae,
the rosary is a sweet chain
linking us to God.
REFLECTION

Mary leads us to encounter

Jesus as she remains with the
Rosarian-Lasallian
community in its 28 years of
our joy, sorrow, and glory.
REFLECTION

May we always feel the sweet

embrace of our Blessed
Mother in our personal, joys,
sorrows, and glories.
REFLECTION

May we always recognize the

mighty hand of Jesus our Lord,
in our daily lives…, because the
Blessed Mother and her Son
Jesus is always with us.
