ASSESSMENT A
1. Are R4 and R6 in parallel or in series? Why? Refer to voltage-current
measurements for your answer to justify.

Parallel, due to the fact R3 and R4 aren't related within the side of the
equal path. Also, each has the equal value of voltage that is 13.655.

2. Are R3 and R4 in parallel or in series? Why? Justify with the solution.

𝐼2 + 𝐼3 = 𝐼3 + 𝐼4 + 𝐼6
103.45 + 160.00 = 160.00 + 62.069 + 41.379
263.45=263.45
Since the total current that flows from the source is similar to the sum of the
currents in each path, it is said to be parallel.
ASSESSMENT A
3. Are Vs and R3 in parallel or in series? Why? Justify with the solution.
 𝐼3 = 160.00 𝑚𝐴 = 0.16 𝐴
𝑅3 = 150 Ω 𝑉𝑠 = 24V
V𝑠 = 𝑉3
24𝑉 = 𝐼3𝑅3
24𝑉 = (0.16 𝐴)(150 Ω)
24𝑉 = 24V

4. Are Vs and R6 in series or in parallel? Why? Justify with the solution.

5. Are Vs and Req in parallel or in series? Why? Justify with the solution.
ASSESSMENT A
6. Is VDR applicable for R3 and R4? Why? Justify your
answer based on the theory given in the introduction.

7. Is CDR applicable for R4 and R6? Why? Justify your

answer on the basis of theory given in the introduction.

8. Is the parallel combination of R4 and R6 in series or in

parallel with R2? Why? Justify.

ASSESSMENT B
9. Are R4 and R6 in parallel or in series? Why? Refer to voltage current
measurements for your answer to justify

10. Are R3 and R4 in parallel or in series? Why? Justify with solution.

11. Are Vs and R3 in parallel or in series? Why? Justify with solution.

12. Are Vs and R6 in series or in parallel? Why? Justify with solution.

13. Are Vs and Req in parallel or in series? Why? Justify with solution.

14. Is VDR applicable for R3 and R4? Why? Justify your answer on the basis of
theory given in the introduction.
CONCLUSION

         Through the laboratory experiment that is conducted,
the group of students were able to properly understand the
basic components of circuits such as quantities like voltage
and current, moreover they analyze the DC circuit and
verification of Ohm’s Law through comparing the resistance
that is acquired for every simulation. The experiment is
composed of two parts in which it is composed of two different
circuits that are simulated using Multisim Software.
         The first part of the laboratory experiment is all about
determining what happens to a circuit if the value of a
component is exceeded, also how Voltmeter and Ammeter
works in a circuit with a lamp that has a fixed value attached
on it. After simulating the first activity, the students found out
that as the voltage increases then quantities such as current
and power also increases. Furthermore, as the voltage flows
in the circuit it enables the lamp to light up, the students
noticed that if the voltage is set to low amount, then the light
of the lamp is weak and vice versa. In accordance, setting up
the voltage in a higher amount will cause an overloading to
the circuit and it will not work because the circuit diagram is
set with a normal rate.
         The last part of the laboratory experiment or the second
part that is conducted is all about comparing the resistance
obtained with each other, the simulation of the circuit diagram
is divided into three (3) different experiments which are
obtaining the resistance with the use of Ohmmeter, Ohm’s
Law, V-I Slope and lastly checking the inconsistency of the
data gathered with Percentage error. Using Ohmmeter the
students acquired the first data needed which is R1= 100
MOhm, next one is verifying the Ohm’s law, through dividing
the first resistance to the current given they are able to get
the next resistance and it is a way to solve for the percentage
error.
After computing different values for obtaining the error, the
students found out that there is no inconsistency with the
resistance acquired after doing the experiment, through the
use of graphs they determine that there are no changes with
the relationship between volts and current. Lastly, After
conducting two experiments the group of students have
concluded that there is a significant relationship between
voltage, power, and current and they can see its connection
between each other physically through a DC circuit diagram.
