Combining forms

Are word elements that are Greek or Latin in


origin to which affixes or other word. Essentially,
Combing Forms are not affixes. They are actually
root words which, when combines with other word
segments become compound words. Functionally,
however, the combining forms enumerated
hereunder are practically accredited as prefixes.
