By developing strategies and implementation to


improve and enhance the online learning
experience of General Academic Strand Students
of St. Sebastian International School
WHY CONDUCT THE STUDY?

The researchers will conduct the study because of the following reasons:

It is timely and relevant


It is a fresh topic
It will be easier for the researchers to gather data in the online platform
There are limited studies focusing on the effects of
online learning to student’s academic performance
WHO ARE THE TARGET RESPONDENTS

The target respondents include both the Junior


and Senior High School students of St.
Sebastian International School enrolled in the
General Academic Strand (GAS)
WHERE IS THE LOCATION OF THE RESEARCH

The location of the study will be in St.


Sebastian International School, Bacolod City,
limited to online platform because of COVID-
19 restrictions.
WHEN WILL YOU CONDUCT THE STUDY?

The researchers will conduct the study as soon


as possible once approved. It will them take a
minimum of 2 months to finish the first 2
chapters and same goes with the remaining
chapters.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study aims to determine the effects of online learning to the academic performance of General Academic Strand students of St.
Sebastian International School.
Specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions:
1. What is the demographic profile of the General Academic Strand students terms of:
• Sex; and

• Grade Level?
2. What are effects of online learning to the academic performance of General Academic Strand students when grouped as a whole
and according to:
• Sex; and

• Grade Level?
3. Is there a significant difference on the effects of online learning to the academic performance of General Academic Strand students
when grouped as a whole and according to:
• Sex; and

• Grade Level?
