The process of making

pottery
a) choosing and processing clay

-The light-pink clay from the areas of

Thong Vat, Cung Khiem
-After a process, it becomes an
extremely flexible mixture
 b) Shaping

-The clay ball is put on the potter's wheel

-The process needs two artisans
 c) glazing
- The artisans use a brush to glaze an
enamel layer onto the pottery piece
-The product ends up having an opalescent
coat.
 d) baking
- The productd are put into the kiln which
heat is up to 1000 degrees
-The pottery products are baked in 3 days,
and the heat must be carefully adjusted.

of Phu Lang pottery
-Phu Lang pottery products are not
only contributing to the province’s
economy but also creating a unique
cultural feature for Bac Ninh province

-Phu Lang's pottery has a puce glazed

layer, which gives it a longer usage

- The simplicity is the main attraction

of Phu Lang handicraft village.
