Taka BONERATE NATIONAL PARK
Taka Bonerate National Park is a marine park that has the third largest
atoll area in the world. After Kwajifein in the Marshall Islands and
Suvadiva in the Maldives Islands. The total area of this atoll is 220,000
hectares with a distribution of coral reefs reaching 500 km². This area
is located in Takabonerate District, Selayar Islands Regency, South
Sulawesi, Indonesia. Coordinates : 6°41′S 121°9E, Area : 5,307 km²,
Founded : 1992. Since 2005, Taka Bonerate National Park has been
nominated by UNESCO to become a World Heritage Site. In the series
of Selayar Islands Anniversary at this location, every year a festival
entitled Sail Taka Bonerate or previously called Takabonerate Island
Expedition (TIE) is held.

Corals or corals are marine invertebrates
belonging to the class Anthozoa of the
phylum Cnidaria. They usually live in
dense colonies of many identical
individual polyps.

Coconut (Cocos nucifera) is the sole
member of the Cocos clan of the aren-
arenan tribe or Arecaceae. The meaning
of the word coconut (or coconut, in
English) can refer to the whole coconut
tree, seed, or fruit, which botanically is a
fruiting tree, not a nut tree. The term
comes from the 16th century Portuguese
and Spanish words, coco meaning "head"
or "skull" after the three indentations in
the coconut shell that resemble facial
features.

The sea pandanus, sand pandanus or
pudak thorn pandanus (Pandanus
odorifer) is a type of large pandanus that
is often found on sandy or rocky beaches,

Skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus
pelamis) is a medium-sized fish
from the Scombridae (tuna) family.
The only species of the genus
Katsuwonus.

Grouper is a fish member of a
number of genera in the sub-tribe
Epinephelinae, tribe Serranidae in
the Perciformes series. In English,
"grouper" is called grouper or
groper, which is believed to have
come from the name garoupa,
which is thought to be Portuguese.

Napoleon Wrasse, or Humphead
Wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus) is a
large reef fish from the family
Labridae. Its size can reach 3 m[1] with
a weight of 190 kg. Napoleon fish are
found on coral reefs, especially in the
Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean
regions.

Baronang (Siganus Sp.) is a group of
marine fish belonging to the Siginidae
family. This fish in English is called
rabbitfish because of its eating behavior
which eats plants (seaweed) neatly like being
trimmed by a small grass machine. Baronang
is one of the fish that is a favorite for anglers
at sea.

In Indonesia, turtles are also
referred to as gray turtles, turtles,
pseudo pseudo, kembang turtles,
and slengkoroh turtles. Lekang
turtle is among the smallest
turtles, weighing 31-43 kg. The
color of the farm is grayed gray,
the hunt is gray. Turtle is generally
vegetarian or lamat eaters.
Sometimes turtles eat crabs,
gastropodes, squid, jellyfish and
shrimp so that this turtle is
classified as an omnivorous
animal.
