    WHY UBC?
    UBC interests me for a few reasons:

    • Location
    • Surrounded by forest and ocean
    • Relatively close to home
    • Near Vancouver

    • Soccer
    • Team went 15-4-3 last in the 2019-20 season. (W-L-T)
    • Potential scholarship
    • Athletic Benefits (Priority housing and course registration)

    • Academics
    • Prestigious school
    • Has courses that I want to take

    • Computer science is my preferred

    • I will be applying for scholarships and

    TITLE: • I plan on paying for my first year with my
    HOW I WILL PAY parent’s school saving account (around

    • I also have part time jobs working for my
    soccer club and my father’s business (plan
    on having $5,000 saved)
    • To cover the rest of the costs (around
    $4,000), I plan on joining the co-op program
    that my CS program offers
    • Or I can intern at game companies like EA
    or Capcom to get experience and make
    money
