The amateur and advanced researchers can be described in terms of their:


a) time management skills as both very good;
b) communication skills as very good for amateur researchers and superior for
advanced researchers;
c) attentiveness to details as very good for amateur researchers while superior for
advanced researchers;
d) critical thinking as very good for amateur researchers but superior for advanced
researchers;
e) ability to maintain quality and privacy for amateur researchers is very good and for
advanced researchers is superior;
f) generating a topic for amateur researchers is very good while for advanced
researchers is superior;
g) planning the type of research to be used for amateur researchers is very good but
for advanced researchers is superior;

There is no significant difference between the


amateur and advanced researchers in their time
management skills, communication skills,
attentiveness to details, ability to maintain quality
and privacy, generating a topic, and planning the
type of research to be used. On the other hand, there
is significant difference in the respondents on critical
thinking, statistical and graphical analysis of data,
and presentation of findings and dissemination of
results.

Recommendations

Based on the results and conclusions, the researchers came to the following
recommendations:
a) To improve the time management skills of amateur and advanced researchers, they
must always organize their work to meet deadlines in good time and prioritize
research so that they will finish it in the earliest time.
b) In communication skills, they must restate the essence of the respondents statement
in their own words as a way of checking on the accuracy of what has been heard
and always ask open-ended questions for clarification.
c) Always pay attention to the important information to easily remove the information
that having not enough credibility and reliability.
d) For improvements of critical thinking skills, amateur and advanced researchers
must always evaluate ideas before putting up into conclusion and do not accept one
idea but two or more will do.
e) When a confidential research have done, researchers must dispose records or
devices on which information is stored, it is necessary to maintain quality and
privacy of respondents.
Recommendations

f) Both researchers must always be ready for modification of their topics


because there is a possibility that their generated research topic is not
researchable.
g) Amateur and advanced researchers must always kept in their minds the
differences of all the type of research, so that they will easily know
what will use.
h) Researchers must have enough knowledge about the different statistical
tools and must learn how to use microsoft excel for tabulation of data.
i) Both researchers is having a nervous feeling while presenting the
findings and dissemination of results in their research, but it will be
practiced through various practice of public speaking.

Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions were
drawn:

showed that the students did not meet the expected competencies in
evaluating functions during the pretest;
2. The percentage scores of the experimental group during the
posttest was higher than the control group;
3. The control and experimental groups performed at the same level
during the pretest;
4. The percentage scores of both the control and experimental
groups significantly improved in the posttest; and
5. The use of F-Seeker Game Strategic Intervention Material was
more effective in teaching evaluating functions than plain, without
intervention material, classroom instruction.

From the conclusions made, the following are

1. Mathematics teachers should regularly diagnose,
monitor, and address the learners needs and difficulties
in line with the expected competencies to be mastered;
2. Mathematics teachers should contextualize lessons so
that learners can easily adopted to the given subject
matters;
3. Mathematics teachers should be innovative, creative,
and efficient in using available, interesting, and useful
instructional materials to assist students in learning the
topics to be taught;
