ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
First of all, we are thankful to the Almighty Allah for giving us the strength and ability to
understand, learn and complete this report.

The completion of this report could not have been possible without the assistance of
Mr. Shamsul Nazly bin Jumain, our chemistry teacher. We are here to express our sincere
gratitude and appreciation to him for his guidance and support throughout this research.

Last but not least, a debt of gratitude to our family and friends who has helped us in one
way or another by sharing their support, either morally or physically.

May the Almighty Allah bless you with happiness and good health.

QUANTITY OF INTAKE
 There is no safe amount of intake of drugs.

 These drugs affect everyone differently, depending on: size, weight, health, tolerance,

 That is why following the doctor's prescription is important.

• Caffeine (<400 mg or 3-5 cups per day)

STIMULANTS • Amphetamine (up to 30 mg per day; take in divided doses 5-10 mg)

HARMONIZING THE
FIELD OF
TRADITIONAL
TREATMENT IN THE
MODERN ERA
Increased cross-cultural communication has
resulted in exposure of many traditional
medicine to new modern medical environments. Traditional medicine does more
than just providing raw materials
for pharmaceuticals

Modern medicine practitioners are

required to achieve sufficient amount
of  education awareness of the
practice, principles & context of
traditional medicines.
Traditional knowledge can help
provide valuable guidance in
selecting & obtaining plant
Traditional medicine practitioners need material of potential
to be more aware of the nature of
therapeutic interest.
practice & strengths of modern medical
approaches.

Pharmaceuticals = substance used in Traditional medicine has proven to be quite effective in treating both
diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of disease chronic diseases & psychological problems. As results, sometimes
for correcting, restoring, or modifying organic
functions modern medicine are considered weaker.
Therapeutic = a treatment, therapy, or drug
05.
CONCLUSION
As a result of this research, harmonising the field of traditional treatment in the modern era
has been proven to be an aid to the medicine field.

However, there are still insufficient researches for merging these two fields. There is a
paucity of good quality research, and most remain published in non-English journals. The
outcomes of the trials largely support the effectiveness of herbal medicine. However, many
are compromised by methodological flaws.

Despite the efforts of diagnosing the new diseases, more research is needed to make use the
potential of traditional remedies in modern era to form a evolution of effective cure to
various health problems.
