Definition of Dyspepsia

* Dyspepsia is a condition that can cause discomfort


in the upper stomach due to acid reflux or ulcers.
Even so, dyspepsia is not a disease, but a sign or
symptom of a digestive disease that a person
experiences. Things to watch out for, dyspepsia
that is left unchecked can develop into a more
serious condition.
Etiology

* 1. Change in diet
* 2. The influence of drugs that are eaten
excessively and deeply long time
* 3. Alcohol and nicotine cigarettes
* 4. Stress
* 5. Tumors or cancer of the digestive tract
Pathophysiology

Signs and symptoms

1.Abdominal pain (abdominal discomfort)

8. Regurgitation (discharge from the stomach
suddenly)
CAUSE

Usually, heartburn or dyspepsia is caused by


stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid. For
example, if the disorder occurs below the navel,
usually the organs that are affected are the
esophagus, stomach, duodenum, or gallbladder.
Treatment

Adjust the diet.


 Avoid foods that are high in fat, such as chocolate
and cheese.
Avoid foods that cause gas, such as cabbage, cabbage,
and potatoes.
Avoid foods that are too spicy.
 Avoid smoking, alcohol, and drinks with high caffeine
content.
Avoid drugs that can irritate the stomach. Avoid
excessive stress.
