INTRODUCTION

pearlized BOPP film is a both sides heat sealable one side corona treated film having uniform
thickness ,low transparency for minimum see through with good seal strength .It is suitable
for high quality printing ,over wrapping and flow pack machines for packaging .The pearlized
film is used as a packaging material for processed food, ice bars ,candles ,gift wrappers and
tea.

• Pearl film is made from polypropylene resin as a raw material .PEARL film is a kind of BOPP
film produced by adding pearl pigment into plastic particles and through biaxial stretch heat
setting .A typical pearl film is BOPP fpearl film produced by A/B/A3 layer co-extruded biaxial
stretch.
