5. Pay the agreed price on what has been purchased.

1. Receive the right payment for the amount


agreed upon the item sold.
2. Be able to collect for securing against loss
or damage of goods bought by the buyer.
3. Get the goods back when the buyer fails
to pay.

• Human needs, wants and demands are


the basic principles in the field of
marketing.
• Marketing involves all communication
between the seller and the buyer.

•Needs are the necessity of people,


such as food, clothing, and shelter.
Hence, people cannot survive
without them. Education and
healthcare are part of the human
needs.

• Wants are the products or services that


people desire or wish to have. These are
not obligatory part of life. Thus, people
can still live even without these.
Electronic gadgets and entertainment
industry fall under this category.

wants. These are the amount of
interest to a product that
consumers are willing to buy at a
given price, in a given period.

Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
• Abraham Maslow is an American
psychologist who proposed the
different levels of human needs.
• He categorized the needs according
to: basic, psychological, and self-
fulfillment.
• Once the need of a person is
satisfied, he/she moves to the next
level.

things for survival such
as food, water, air,
sleep, clothing, and

As an ideal seller, create your own simple
products. Sell the products with profitable price to
your family members at home. (30 points)
(Note: Ask for guidance or help from adults--- parents, older
siblings, uncle, etc.)

Expected Output:
Short video with the clips of your performance task.
(maximum of 4 minutes)
The short video must contain the following:
1. Introduction (Introduce yourself as a seller and
say something about your products)
2. Reasons why you chose to sell that certain
product/s
3. Production of your products
4. Selling of your products
5. Profit Statement (Total Revenue – Total Expenses
= Profit)
