 Custom Clearance & Documentation whereby all the applicable duties if any shall be paid by

• 3]  Wharfage: Rs.30 PMT
• 4]  Storage: Free Period 30 days + thereafter nominal storage rates as follows
• For 31st - 45th Day: Rs.10 PMT
• 46th - 60th Day       : Rs.20 PMT
• From 61st day onwards: Rs. 30 PMT for every 15 days or part thereof.

5] Discharge Rate: Minimum Guaranteed 15000 PWWD with
geared vessel having Vessel Specifications SDBC / Min 4
cranes of SWL 25 mts / Cranes outreach from ships side min
8.5 mtrs / 8 CBM grabs  Minimum Guaranteed 18000 PWWD
with gearless vessel using Shore Cranes.
 
6] Shore Crane Charges (USD 1.5 PMT)  as per Standard
Port Tariff.
 
7] PRUC Charges: Rs.1300 Per Wagon which is in lieu of
Terminal Charges taken up by Indian Railways (Rs.20
PMT).

Rail connectivity
• The cargo traffic at Port of Visakhapatnam is predominantly Rail
borne.  Out of 55.80 Million tonnes, 33.45 M.T (60%) is moved by Rail
from/to the various places of primary and secondary service area
comprising states VIZ., Chattisgarh,  Jarkhand, Bihar, Uttaranchal,
Uttar Pradesh, Maharastra, Orissa, West Bengal, Punjab etc.  In
addition,  occasionally, Port also serves Territory Service area
comprising Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir.  The remaining cargo is
moved by pipeline/road.  The Port has 200 km. of track length catering
to 12 sidings and 17 open terminals.   The Port railways is functioning
as the terminal agent for East Coast Railway and facilitate direct
receipt and dispatch of goods from and to the service area

independent "Railway Siding" with main
