I. INTRODUCTION TO HEWLETT-PACKARD
Hewlett-Packard is also known as HP or hp. Hewlett-Parkard is a global information
technology company mainly focusing on printers, digital imaging, software, personal
computer and information services.
• HP was founded by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard
in 1939.
• The company is built in a garage in Palo Alto.
• First product -an audio oscillator based on
negative feedback.

• In recent years, the company’s financial plans was not done properly and
effectively.
• Its market share has started experiencing a slow growth due to an
aggressive competition with other big players such as Apple and Samsung.
• The PC demand in the market has decreased over recent years, being
replaced by smartphones and tablet devices.
IV. External Environment
1.Opportunities
• Diversification : Help increase HP's brand size Digital Marketing. It is an opportunity for HP and an
essential element for business operations.
• Digital Marketing: In this situation of Covid-19, HP can take advantage of its technique to conduct
digital marketing more effectively.

2. Threats
• Decrease in PC Market : the personal computer market has seen decline over the past few years as
times change.
• Competitors : Many other companies such as Apple and Dell Samsung are competing fiercely in the
ever-changing PC market.
V. Problem with HP: Leadership crisis
• For the past two decades, HP has changed its CEO several times :
