TABLE RELATIONSHIPS
Most databases have more than one table.
Creating relationships among these tables
allows Access to bring that information back
together again through objects such as reports
and queries so that you can display
information from several tables at once.
THREE TYPES OF
RELATIONSHIPS
IN ACCESS
1. One-to-One - Each record in the first table can only have
one matching record in the second table, and each record in
the second table can have only one matching record in the
first table.
2. One-to-Many - More common, because each record in the
first table can have many records in the second table.
3. Many-to-Many - many records in the first table can have
many records in the second table.
