OBJECTIVES OF GYMNASTICS

The objectives of gymnastics are to learn how to take


instruction, be part of a team and learn the value of
being physically fit. In addition, someone involved in
gymnastics learns how to be disciplined and how to
set
and achieve goals. Physical objectives that are
obtained through participation in gymnastics include
inereased flexibility, muscle strength and
cardiovascular fitness.
OBJECTIVES OF GYMNASTICS

1.) To improve and maintain a physicall fit body.


2.) To improve efficiency of movement through grace,
poise, dignity, form,and rhythm.
3.) To enhance creativity through the exploration of
new movements and movement combinations.
4.) To improve courage, initiative, determination, and
perseverance.
5.) To stimulate interest and enjoyment of gymnastics.
