Alternative energy as

substitute of hydrocarbon
energy
What are Hydrocarbons
Hydrocarbon resources are resources that
contain hydrocarbon molecules which means it
consists both hydrogen and carbon. Hydrocarbon
resources are often known as fossil fuels (natural
gas, oil, and coal) since hydrocarbons are the
primary constituent in these.Hydrocarbon
resources are the largest source of primary
energy, contributing to over 85% of the world's
primary energy.
Advantages and
disadvantages of
using Hydrocarbons
What can be the alternative energy
sources as substitute of hydrocarbon
energy
When talking about the substitutes to fossil fuels, we generally talk about
renewable sources of energy such as solar, wind, water etc. While these
sources are good and have low carbon impact , they are still plagued with
problems like inefficiency, unreliability and low capacity. So I bring forth
another source of energy that is, nuclear energy.
What is nuclear energy
Nuclear energy, also called
atomic energy, energy that
is released in significant
amounts in processes that
affect atomic nuclei, the
dense cores of atoms.
Advantages and
disadvantages of
nuclear energy
Conclusion

While nuclear energy certainly has its advantages and disadvantages, it is

definitely more feasible and environment friendlier than the mainstream and
other options
