 Reflex Energy Limited

5
EPC Player Scope of Work

1. Design, Engineering, Procurement, supply, commissioning & testing of complete system: 70 MWp (DC).

2. Supply of Crystalline Solar PV Modules.

3. Solar Central Inverters.

4. Fixed mounting structure with hot dipped galvanized MS angle and hardware.

5. Junction boxes (array) and string (monitoring) combiner boxes (CB).

6. Cables for LT &HT control & monitoring required for solar plant. All DC cables up to SMU will be flexible Copper
cable and all other cables will be aluminum armored XLPE.

7. LV/33, 33/132 KV transformers and Auxiliary Transformer.

8. Basic PC based weather stations monitoring and logging.

9. Earthing kits lightning protection device –copper plate with neutral earthling, CI pipe for body earthling, array grid
earthling & maintenance free for LA.

10. Other items & accessories like CCTV (day type), firefighting, security system, control room, ventilation, fence has
been considered.

6
EPC Player Scope of Work

11. WBM internal roads and asphalt road to control room only.

12. Water storage for cleaning modules etc.

13. Drainage inside the solar farm perimeter & Street lighting for peripheral only.

14. Civil work for foundation for mounting structure, control room & Switchgear.

15. The foundation and structures are based on certain generic technical parameters.

16. Mandatory electrical equipment spares are considered.

17. ABT meters at plant end.

18. Providing flood water control.

19. Power and water for construction.

7
—FACTORS AFFECTING ENERGY GENERATION

 Solar Radiation – Watts/m2 – affected by cloud/rain/shadow etc.

 Dust – Layer of dust on PV modules reduces o/p power.

 Ambient Temp. – Silicon being negative temperature coefficient material, as the temp.
increases cell junction temp. also increases with a reduced o/p.

 Grid Availability – Being a grid connected system availability of HT supply with in the
desired range for voltage & frequency is essential, hence it is reqd. to have an Express
Feeder

— Why It Make Sense for us ……

• Annual solar radiation in India is 5.2-6.5 kWh/m2/day over 280 clear days per annum, and thus there is
an abundant stock to trap
• Ample land already available to set up solar park.
• Shorter Project Gestation Period.
• Availability of government policies both at the national level (Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar
Mission).
• Attractive tariff rates, in the range of Rs 7-8 per kWh
• Reduced customs duty followed by exempted excise duty on solar PV panels
• Carbon credit benefits
• Project life of 25 years
• No major Approvals and clearances Required
