Movement
We can move our body in many ways.
We are able to move that make us go from one place There are some movements that we can do while
to another. we are staying on one place.

We can be in different place when we move our feet This is when we are stretching our arms upward
forward or backward. and squatting.

The actions that make us move from one place to
another is called locomotor movements.

Skip — move along by stepping from one foot to the


other with a loop

Jump — pushing up with both feet and taking


off into the air

Leap — jump or spring a long way

Slide — move along a surface


without lifting the feet

Hop — move by jumping one foot

An action without motion is called non-locomotion.
We do not go to other place as we move.

Rock or sway — shift of the body weight forward,


backward, side to side, or in a circular
motion

Stretch — extending a body part or the
