Implied Detail Questions
• Drawing a conclusion from a
specific detail or details in the
passage
• This questions contain the words,
implied, inferred, or probably
• The answer is not directly stated.
Transition Questions
• The questions about what probably came
before the reading passage (in the preceding
paragraph or what probably comes after the
reading passage (in the following paragraph).
• A paragraph may start out with the idea of the
previous paragraph as a way of linking the
ideas in the two paragraph
• A paragraph may also end with an idea that
will be in the further developed in the
following paragraph

A clause is a group of words containing a subject and a verb
If the sentence contain more than one clause, you have to make sure that every
subject has a verb and every verbe has a subject
