    Musical Theatre

    It is a type of play containing


    music, songs, and, usually,
    dances.
    Mime

    A Mime is an incident art form


    based on pantomime in which
    conventionalized gestures are
    used to express ideas rather that
    actions.
    Melodrama

    It is a dramatic play that gives


    emphasis on plot and physical
    actions. Sometimes, it uses
    exaggerated actions to show
    strong emotions.
    Improvisation

    It is kind of play where there is


    no rehearsal and advance
    reading of script. Impromptu
    acting.
    Theatre Materials

    Props

    An object used on stage or on


    screen by actors during
    performance or screen
    production.
    Set Piece

    Realistic piece or stage scenery


    constructed to stand by itself.
    Makeup

    Products used in faces.


    Mask

    It is an object normally worn on


    the face for disguise or
    entertainment.
    Costumes

    Wardrobe and dress in general.


    Poster Blurb

    Brief advertisement or
    announcement about the play.
    Playbill

    A poster announcing a theatrical


    performance.
    Stage Production

    Any work of theatre arts.
