I am here to discuss how does Gender Inequality affect the society and the causes and
effects of Gender Inequality

Gender inequality affects everyone, including men. Stereotypes or ‘rules’
about how women and men, girls and boys should be begin in childhood and
follow us through to adulthood. Not everyone experience inequality the same
way. The situation maybe worse or different for those people who faces
discrimination. It includes children, adults, transgenders and many more.

Gender describes the role ,rights and responsibilities that society
considers appropriate for men and women .
WHAT IS GENDER INEQUALITY?
The social process by which men and women are not treated equally. The treatment
may arise from distinctions regarding biology, psychology, or cultural norms
prevalent in the society.

Every girl and boy deserves an equal chance to live in this
society without being judge on how they act and think through
their gender . Yet, gender discrimination starting in childhood,
continues to rob children about their childhoods and limit their
actions because of their gender. A girl is like to be denied her
rights, forced to marry and her voice is undervalued even she
spoke about herself. While boy, dominance are aligned with
norms of masculinity.

is Uneven Access To Education. Around the
world men have more access to education
than women. This can lead to poverty trap

because they are lack of education. And can
also lead to an intergenerational poverty
gap, meaning children of those already in
the trap are more likely to be at risk as well.
Education provides the ability for one to
access the knowledge necessary to make a
living. Therefore, it is important to highlight
the importance of education as it provides
many opportunities for the future.

keep men to be main income earner
and systematic discrimination
preventing women from equally
contributing to their households and
participating in the workforce.
Therefore, they feel pressure to be a
“real man’ to be physically and
emotionally strong. At the same
time many workplace don’t offer
men extended parental leave or
flexible hours.

workforce, women are promoted
at work far less often than men.
Indeed, gender bias in higher
education and professional
training can be observed even in
some of the richest countries in
the world.

• higher rates of unpaid work, such as caring for
sick relatives
• exposure to higher rates of sexual assault,
intimate partner abuse, and gender-based

Girls are more likely than boys to never received an education,
although there are countless boys and girls worldwide who face
barriers when trying to receive an education, there are several specific
forms of discrimination that only affect girls.

 Empower mothers
When mothers are educated and empowered to make choices in their
lives, they be able to raise awareness in their children.

Get women into power

Globally, women have less political representation than men.By have
ng an equal presence of women in politics or leadership positions,
they able to voiceout their values and concept.

This view has contributed to the perception that
women are the only who will benefits. However,
also men benefit from gender equality as they face
gender specific issues such as bad mental
health,lower education, and discrimination. It is
important that both women and men are aware of
the benifts that gender equality brings to thme and
to the societies. Through the participation of both
men and women we can succeed.
