 Walking- a series of steps in all


direction.
 Running- a fast walk with longer
strides and there is a push - off by
the foot to suspend the body
momentarily in the air.
 Hopping- a spring on one foot and
land on the same foot.

same foot in one count.
 Leaping- a spring on one foot and
land on the other foot.
 Sliding- a full contact of the foot on
the floor by gliding in any direction.

A native peasant dance of Leyte.


 Also known as pinatakasi, the
Waray equivalent to bayanihan.
