INTERVENTION

Monumental Axis
Mix-Use Axis
Residential Axis

The urban plan based on the vision and context should be an

indicator of social and cultural change to retrieve the historical
identity and promote tourism.

Hence to reflect the vision, the interaction between the three

urban scales: monumental, mix-use and residential
These scales not only define predominant uses but also proper
relations between :
1. predominant and complementary uses
2. built and open areas
3. urban morphology
4. principles of circulation

Alongside the intersection of the axis

pertaining functionally coincide and
lead to the mix-use axis with high
density services, social and cultural
Physically the monumental scale is positioned far from spaces, retail and recreation
the residential scale and separated by gregarious scale.
The mix-use scale is seen as a shared link between
monumental and residential yet as a barrier that
separates public from private and not simply isolate.
