Diamonds and Darkness

One night I crept out of my bed to get one of
my cuddly toys .But I felt something under my
foot.
I wondered what it was .I switched on the light
and saw it was a handle. I pulled the handle up
and jumped down.
I found myself in an underground cave. It looked like it
was made of multi-coloured crystals. Ahead there were
lava rivers and little stumps made of metal. I walked
forward along a passage which led from the cave and
there in front of me was a sign saying........
I slid down a slippy bank and found
myself face to face with ........
 A LAVA MONSTER  
I could tell it was a Lava monster because it was
dripping with lava. It was quite small and had a
very deep voice. I said ,"who are you ?"The Lava
monster said, "I am a Lava Monster. I am part of
the Lava monster family“
The Lava monster said they had a problem.
Their problem was a lava eating dinosaur
who was vicious and he didn't let them go
back to their caves. 
I and the Lava Monsters thought of a plan.
We threw big rocks and defeated the lava
eating dinosaur.
They said," Thank you for helping us." Since you
helped us we will show you our secret cave with loads
of diamonds. So we went to the cave .I was fascinated.
They let me take three or four diamonds home." Thank
you" I said. They told me the way home.
I saw a dark tunnel. I ran through it and opened
the door and I saw it was in my bedroom.
I climbed into bed and fell fast asleep. When I
woke up the trap door was gone.
