B: He’s Gordon, a soccer coach. B: Yes. I know her. We’re friends. And she’s Sussy, a
personal trainer. A: I remember now. I met her before. A: Great! Thank you, Doris!

• Obs: Para formar a interrogativa de to be, tudo que é necessário é passar o verbo (ou
seja, am, is, are) para a frente do sujeito (ou seja, I, you, he, she, it, we, they). 
Ex: He is old Is he old? l They are beautiful Are they beautiful?
 WHAT – WHO
• Quando usamos WHAT e WHO?
O who é usado para perguntar de pessoas. Traduzido em português por “quem”. Na resposta
sempre haverá uma pessoa, representado por um nome, grau de parentesco ou profissão.
Ex: Who is that woman? R: She is Lucy. (nome)

O what é usado para perguntar de coisas. Traduzido para português por “que” ou “qual”. Na
resposta haverá uma coisa, ação, situação, evento ou data.
Ex: What is that on Charlie’s hand? R: It’s a ball. (coisa)
