GRAIN

-This typically consist of bulk cereals and oilseeds such as rice, wheat, corn oats,
barley, millet, sorghum, rye etc. may be used for human consumption or animal
feeds. Some are processed to extract certain oils or chemicals used as raw materials
for factory production.

SETTLING

-grains has the tendency to settle, but can shift within a cargo hold;
-holds may be full, but due to vibration and other movements grain settles but leaves
a space on top of the cargo;
-such space will allow the cargo to move about as affected by the 6 motions of a ship.

QUANTITY CLAUSE

-is a condition in a contract duly respected and honored wherein the quantity of
goods delivered should be identical as stated in the contract.
-buyer has the right to refuse payment if quantity is either less or more than what
