JUSTIFICATION OF

EXPENDITURES
▸ Aftermath of remote learning at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic has made it
important to be a one-to-one school when it comes to technology.
▸ Liable for returning computers but not for breakage.
▸ Must have ample supplies to keep up with demand.
JUSTIFICATION OF

KEEPING STAFFING
▸ Since staffing is determined by the enrollment of students and student enrollment has not
decreased it is important for the school to maintain all teaching personnel.
▸ District is in charge of staffing and placement, if the need is there, as the school leader it is
imperative that the case be made that it would be detrimental in the District Vision and
Promise as well as the schools IAP’s success.
SUPPORT OF MISSION AND PROMISE
▸ The core of the IAP and the budgetary plan is the mission, the budget is created to try and
ensure all students are prepare for their future no matter where that leads.
▸ This budget plan will give all students the ability to move forward in life with the ability
to critically think and make decisions that will help make them productive members of
society.
USE OF HUMAN RESOURCES
▸ Freshmen House - 9th grade teams created to help students by grouping and giving them a
set of teachers that can easily discuss the group as a whole.
▸ After school tutoring - focuses on those students who are in need of additional support in
core areas of English, Math, and Science.
▸ Professional Development - involves the growth of teachers and staff to help better
support student in their educational journey.

TECHNOLOGICAL RESOURCES
▸ Use of online resources to replace the purchase of textbooks; this allows for students to
access the material
▸ Students can also engage with their teachers and peers to get support on materials from
their school issued computer. Building self-efficacy and self advocates.
COMMUNITY RESOURCES
▸ The use of the community and programs found within the community is a great way to
supplement the loss in funding. Creating connections through different educational
opportunity allows for partnership and new experiences for kids.

▸ In order to determine if the plan set in place was successful it is important to do needs
assessments and other surveys to gauge the communities view of success.
▸ Stakeholder will also need to assess students scores and the surveys given to determine
effectiveness.
▸ Ensure all goals continue to align with mission and promise of the District.
